I worked with Debra in security at Terminal 5, Port of Seattle, for a number of years. She was in the lead position for swing shift several times a week. I remember her as kind and of service to others, possessing a tasteful sense of humor. She was conscientious about her work and serious when necessary. Often in our free time, there would be discussions and sharing about gardening, baking, the wild life along the river and shoreline, and other topics of interest. Once she came to the “Art in the Garden” festival in my neighborhood that I had told her about. I was surprised by that. She was, as some would say, “a wise and old soul”. She will be greatly missed.
